So I have been slacking lately. Like really slacking.

I am looking for a new technical writing job or something similar that uses my technical writing experience and English degree. I found a few to apply for but I can't get my resume 100% where I want it. I think I have it then I go back over it and there is just something about it that bothers me.

Other than that there is not much to report.

We found a leak in our upstairs bedroom. We had somebody come and look at it today and they said there were problems with roofs leaking during the last big storm so it may have been the same time. We don't use that room much, only when we have company, and I think David's mom hasn't been in town in a while, so it had been a while since I had really been up in that room. I don't think it is getting any worse so that is good.

We are planning on returning to Vegas for our 1 year anniversary. We aren't going to be in the hotel we stayed in before, the Palazzo, but we did get a really nice room in the Venetian for cheaper.

QuakeCon is coming up. August is a pretty busy month. We go to QuakeCon, have a weekend off, and then it's time for our anniversary. David's birthday is the week after that, which isn't August anymore but it will be a busy couple of weeks.

We started doing P90X to get in shape and it is hard. We have been bad about it lately. I don't think we have done it for a couple weeks. Things have been a little busy though.

For Father's day we went over to my parents. I got my dad Mario Kart for the Wii, we went swimming in their pool, and we went to see Night at the Museum.

I got Microsoft Office 2007. We had just started using it at work and I wasn't sure if I liked it. I am not used to the new set up for the menus yet so I am not sure where everything is. I think I will like it though once I get everything figured out. It's just a little different, that's all.
